Drew Zachary is a government innovation leader who has co-founded award winning programs including The Opportunity Project and StatVentures. She has served at the U.S. Department of Commerce since 2017, including a 2-year term as DOC's Deputy Chief Data Officer for Innovation, and currently as Deputy Chief Innovation Officer and Managing Director of Census Open Innovation Labs at the U.S. Census Bureau. She previously served at the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, and the White House Domestic Policy Council. Drew holds a PhD in Social Policy from the Heller School at Brandeis University, and a Masters in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
